This time we got photo’s of Reyer de Jong who caught a new DAF in The Netherlands. It is a field test truck with probably the new Space Cab. We did see another version with an even larger cab, that could be the new Super Space Cab. That is, if DAF is continuing those names.
We can see that the front of the truck sticks out more than the XF model, and that is one of the aerodynamic details that are going to be important in the future. Also we see that the cab overhang on the front is larger than before. The back end of the cab is on the same spot, and therefor this cab is slightly longer than the model we know so well. Insiders say DAF is going to surprise drivers with a bunk that is better than what they have at home. We keep you posted, stay tuned!
