At the Beijing International Automotive Exhibition, Dongfeng shows new trucks which show improvements in electronics and in after treatment systems. The Chinese NS 4 exhaust gas regulations are a challenge for the Chinese truck industry but marketleader Dongfeng shows it can comply. The truck shown in the picture also has improved brake electronics.
There’s now sign yet of influences from the new business partner of Dongfeng, Volvo Trucks. We can imagine that at Volvo they can add a thing or two to the Dongfeng trucks being developed at present. The model shown in the picture seems to show some Renault-influences. It is in anyway surely a truck which can fit in the Volvo global strategy.
