Tatra is starting the production of the 2018 models with the new Paccar MX11 and MX13 engines. That means more power, less fuel and with the new ZF Traxon automatised 16- gearboxed faster shifting. Another advantage of the new generation of Tatra is the more compact exhaustunit. That is almost half the size it used to be and therefor it can now be mounted between axle one and two.
Other news is that the axle load for steering axles is now ten tonnes. Also the axles can now be fitted with disc brakes. The new Tatra models have a black grille.
