Elon Musk visited the Tesla factory in Berlin where he stated that the factory is also designed to produce the Tesla Semi truck. In a conversation with lokal journalist he said that Tesla is planning to start production for Europe when serie production in the USA has began.
At the launch of the Tesla Semi some European transport companies already ordered the truck, and made a payment for them, but since then nothing happened. When Tesla is realy coming to Europe the truck has to be modified on several details, because the American setup will not be type aproved in Europe.
