My dear collegue Владимир Чехута (I could only get his first name, Vladimir) sent me info and photo’s of a new MZKT. I didn’t even know there were old models of this brand! It is a heavy 8×8 tractor unit with a 600 Hp Russian Euro-4 engine. It has a 6 speed MZKT automatic transmission.
Everything is big on this machine. The wheels are 23.5 R25 and the truck has two winches of 250 kN each! The mass of the truck is 25tons and it can handle GVW’s of 100 tons.
The maximum speed is 70 km/h. The truck is more than ten metres long and 3180 mm wide. Thanks Vladimir for this info!
