Volvo showed the first pictures and information of the Volvo FH Aero with a hydrogen internal combustion engine. The truck has hydrogen tanks behind the cab and the injection system is equal as the LNG trucks of Volvo with High Pressure Direct Injection. In the LNG version this system uses a little bit of diesel fuel for the ingnition, that will probably also be the case with this ICE Hydrogen engine. The system is made by Cespira. The Volvo FH with ICE Hydrogen engine is espected in a few years time.
