Toyota Motor North America and Hino USA work together on a heavy fuel cell truck for the North American market. The experienced truck builder Hino developed the new XL series, a conventional Class 8 truck. This truck is being tested with Toyota fuel cell technology.
Apart from this developement both partners als work on a 25 ton fuel cell truck for the Japanese market.
