Mack Trucks has won the Swedish Steel Prize 2013 with their innovative Y-Twin suspension.
With Y-Twin each front wheel has a construction with two Y-shaped parts made out of high-strength steel. These replace the front leaf suspension and are supposed to be just as strong. Better stability, more comfort and less wear on the tires are some of the strong points of the Y-Twin system.
