Renault is launching the completely new truckrange today in one big internationa event. That means not only the new long-distance models, but also the new distribution and construction trucks.
The distribution trucks come in two models, both called ‘D’. There is the 10-18 ton model and the ‘D-Wide’ from 16 – 26 tonnes. The version with the low entry cab is going to be named ‘D-Entry’ and that one is available from 18 – 26 ton.
Looking at the photo’s we learn that the ‘old’ Midlum and Premium distribution cabs stay in production. Earlier Volvo gave a hint with their FE- and FL models, that use the same cabs. Smaller trucks from 3,5 – 7,5 tonnes are anounced, but not launched yet.
The D-series come with the DTi 5 and DTi 8 engines in Euro-6. Automated transmissions are standard on the complete D-range.
