Nissan is picking up on selling vans again in Europe. The next NV300 for the European market is going to be another kloon of the succesfull Renault Trafic van. Production will start this year in Sandouville. That means the production will grow with about 100.000 units until 2026. The plant produces the Renault Trafic, Opel Vivaro and Nissan NV300. Even then there is still capacity left for the next Fiat Scudo. That will also be a rebadged Renault Trafic.
In the meanwhile Nissan is selling NV vans in the USA with the 1500 – 2500 HD and 3500 HD badges. These are tipical American van’s with big 4-litre V6 and 5,6 litre V8 engines up to 316 Hp.
