We have seen a lot of scoop photo’s of the new Renault trucks and here are som more from the Norwegian website Tungt. The photo’s show details of the back of the cab and the front and the Norwegian colleges speculate about the amount of Volvo parts and panels in the cab.
For as far as I can see there are no Volvo parts at all. The backwall of the cab seems new to me and also the front, window and rooflines are completely new. We still have to wait a few months before the launch when we can make shure.
The high position of the cab could still make a flat floor possible. Renault was the first one with a flat cab floor in the Magnum and I hope the French stick to that concept. It looks like they do!
This truck is running in Denmark and the source of Tungt says that the truck is in the fleet of Henrik Guldager. Now that is news, because that is a hard-core Volvo fan!

Volvo only use the word platform. Volvo (Sweden), Volvo (USA), Renault, Mack, UD and Eicher will have common platforms (three). It is not the same as common cabs. Compare for example VW, Audi and Skoda.
