The Volkswagen factory in Resende, Brazil, manufacturer of VW and MAN trucks and buses, will produce more than 100,000 Volkswagen Constellation trucks for defense departments in 2014. The armed forces of Brazil already use earlier versions of the Volkswagen Worker 4×4 and 6×4.
VW Constellation 31.320 is the first 6×6 military truck made in Brazil, which has a capacity of 10 tonnes and the ability to overcome rough terrain. VW Constellation equipped with an engine capacity of 315 hp. Truck can cross water obstacles with a depth of one meter, overcome obstacles with a slope of 60 degrees and 30 degrees to the side.
