At DAF Trucks they are working on the hydrogen combustion engine as it was presented last year during the introduction of the XF, XG and XG+. Now we found photo’s of a hydrogen-electric fuel cell truck that was caught at a hydrogen fuel station in Eindhoven. The DAF CF has large stacks of tanks behind the cab and battery’s on the chassis.
Hyzon is also working on DAF trucks with fuel cell technology but this is clearly a DAF. The big question is now is this a DAF development truck or VDL or do they work together?
