One of our Iepieleaks friends overtook three camouflaged trucks today in Belgium. This made him curious and he stopped to have a closer look and make photo’s. We see prototypes of the next DAF generation, and for the first time we can see that they are testing two different models. Two high versions (XF?) are connected to refridgirated trailers and a lower cab is pulling a curtainslider.
It seems that DAF is going to work with a modular platform for the new medium- and high cab versions. Probably the largest model is going to have a flat floor. We wonder if the new CF is still going to have two entry steps like the new FM and Scania P models. At this moment the DAF CF only has two steps when the MX11 engine is mounted. The CF with the 13 liter engine already has three steps to enter the cab.
