The Belgian army ordered 879 DAF trucks before for different purposes. New is an extra order of nine DAF 8×8 tractor units with Broshuis low loaders. The trucks are equiped with the famous Tatra frame with independant suspension and, in this case also a Tatra armoured cab. The engine is the Paccar MX13 with 460 Hp.
DAF is working together with Tatra for military trucks and that is smart, because DAF does not produce trucks with all wheel drive. This way both truck manufacturers help each other. All service on the military trucks is done by DAF.
