Now these photo’s were sent in from Brazil. They show a new Scania truck, but the cab looks like it is the existing model. Expecialy the low roof looks like nothing changed, even the mirrors are the ones we all know. It is just the grille that is covered by camouflage, so something should be going on there. The other photo shows sort of the same cab, but then with a new high roof. Again the cab looks the same but in this case the roof is unknown. It is not the Highline and for shure not the Topline. That model was never sold in Brazil by the way. On the photo where we only see a cab there is the same new highroof mounted.
Now this can mean that Scania will keep the existing cab for Latin America with a new grille and a new highroof. Now that would make sens because Brazil does not need Euro-6 until 2018 at its first. Again, we don’t know for shure but these cabs don’t look the same as the camouflaged proto’s we see running around in Europe.
Thanks for the info and the photo’s anonymuos friends in Brazli! 😉
