On the Samoter 2014 show Iveco launched their new 16 liter, six-cylinder engine for the top of the range. The new FPT Cursor 16 engine has a rating up to 775 Hp and in a truck that would mean that Iveco beats Volvo with their FH16 sixpot with 750 Hp. Like all Iveco engines this new big one is SCR only. 
The new Cursor 16 comes with single or double stage versions with a max torque of 3500 Nm at 1400 revs.The new Cursor 16 already won the ‘Engine of the Year 2014 Award.’ Photo’s: Buzzybeeforum.nl
