Volvo announced that they are preparing the next generation of electric trucks for 2026, but they are already out there! This picture was released with a press release about a new truckcharger on the A2 in Germany. The truck is in the Volvo introduction colours, with DFDS stickers on it.
Behind the cab we see longer airfenders and on the long chassis we can see the tag axle that is needed to release some axle weight from the drive axle. The drive axle itself is the new e-Axle Of Volvo.
The range of the 2.0 version of the Volvo FH electric is said to be 600 km, charging from 20- to 80% can be done in about 40 minutes with a MCS charger.
