Chinese truckbrand Windrose has serious European ambitions with the R700, electric truck. This Tesla Semi lookalike already has a European homologation. The next step is the buiding of a European headquarters, with R&D center and a truck assembly in the port of Antwerp, Belgium.
The Windrose R700 has a range between 600 and 700 km and has a max output of 1045 Hp. The driveline uses components from Borg Warner. Remarkable is the central seating position, like in the Tesla Semi. Another unique feature is the ‘Ribcase’ layout of the frame.
