Earlier this year, VSE of Veenendaal (NL) was acquired by Weber Hydraulik, the multinational German specialist in the field of hydraulics and hydraulic-related products. Weber Hydraulik’s network and products provide an advantageous, stable base for VSE to further spread its wings in the global marketplace, while Weber Hydraulik benefits from VSE’s vehicle and system knowledge. These latest developments are a consequence of the expansion VSE has undergone in recent years.
As a result, VSE arrived at a crossroads where it was confronted with the question: ‘Should we continue doing what we are good at, or should we expand with Weber, so we can gain access to new markets?’ Clearly, the decision was taken to pursue the latter course. Both companies intend to showcase this at the upcoming IAA in Hanover, to be held from 24 September to 2 October at the Hannover Messe.
At the show, customers will be informed about a new service that VSE provides: a possibility to double factory warranty to two years. All about conditions going with this, are to be heard at the VSE stand in Hanover.
VSE and Weber Hydraulik will present their companies jointly to the public for the first time at the IAA. ‘Customers can see how the collaboration leads to a much broader product portfolio, and they can see who our new partner is. We invite contacts to take this opportunity to get to know us and our associates,’ says marketing manager Johan Verwoert. Customers can also see that VSE still operates independently within the new partnership in terms of its relationships with customers.
At the stand a clear distinction is made between the truck- and trailer-related products. A new corporate film will also be running that shows how the collaboration between the two companies works.
