Volvo just lauched the new FMX for Euro-6 on the Bauma exhibition. Here are the first photo’s of the new tough construction truck of Volvo.
The new FMX comes with Dynamic steering, a complete new dashboard layout and new interior and the V-shaped running lights that we know of the FM and FH series. The cab is the same, but Volvo managed to create more space for the driver.
Also there is new air suspension with 300 mm of clearance. More stability, better protection against rocks for the suspension and a hydraulic steering tag axle are other new items for the FMX.
Also the driven front axles are placed 10 cm more forward. That gives a better climbing angle and more comfort. The new FMX comes with the Euro-6 11 and 13 liter engines.
