Scania is testing with an electric truck with 900 kWh battery’s on board. Swiss transport company Krummen Kerzers is testing the Scania 40S electric truck with this massive battery package. The range should be at least 850- up to 900 kilometers.
The pictures don’t show a lot of details but behind the cab there is a construction behind the fenders. This could be a battery storage. The truck is equiped with the ‘Streamline’ bumper that allows the combination to be longer than the standard 16,50 meters.
After the horsepower race it looks like the range race has begon now!
