Scania: Longer and streamlined

All news now is about Euro 6. Scania was so clever to fit the new Euro 6 engine in the ecxisting models and that gave them a headstart. Mercedes caught up very fast and those two brands are the only ones who deliver Euro 6 at the moment. The rest we are going to see at the IAA, except for Renault. They only show the engines but they leave us waiting for the new design.

Now it seems that the EU is going to allow a little more vehicle length for streamlining purposes Scania could get another headstart. Since they are probably the next to show a new cab they could take advantage of the new regulations. This prototype was shown years ago but this could be the next trend in truckland. We will wait and see!
