Scania, facelift comming up?

Scania has already introduced most of the Euro 6 models but we are still waiting for the V8 engines that comply with the latest emission standards for 2014.

For some time now roumours circulate about a facelift that is comming up for Scania R-models, and now i found this drawing. It is from a computer game and i don’t know who made it but it looks very good, and realistic.

The grille is more open and that means even more air for cooling the big V8 engines. The rest of the cab seems to be the same, apart from the new mirrors and the lower front end. With the new headlights this realy makes the difference and this detail takes the old Scania cab into the design direction of the other brands.

As i said, it is just a roumour and i have no clou if the drawing has anything to do with what is comming up but it shure looks good. So, dear Iepieleaks spies, keep your eyes open and your cameras stand by in the next months!

  4. The V8 Euro 6 engines have been presented some time ago. They are base on the 16,4 litros V8 and are avaliable in 520, 580 and 730 hp.
