Renault Trucks has published photo’s of the 2025 range. Biggest news is the CMS, Camera Monitoring System that replaces the mirrors. This is going to be the standard, for the C, K and eTech C this is going to be an option.
The CMS system also has an infrared function for a better view in dark conditions, just like the Volvo camera’s. Also Renault Trucks improved the lane keeping system that helps active to keep in lane. At high speed the new system is more stabil, at lower speed maneuvering is more easy and lighter. This smells like Active Steering from the Swedish mother brand.
With improvements on the driveline and the improved aerodynamics Renault Trucks claims 3% extra efficiency. The optimized ‘Smart Racer’ gives even more fuel efficiency and up to 15% reduction of CO2.
