The next generation of Scania will have a top model with the V8 engine with no less than 780 Hp. That is 50 Hp more than the excisting model and 30 Hp more than the biggest Volvo FH16. That is when this illustration is right, and I do bet it is. The torque of the V8 engine is impressive with almost 3600 Nm all the way from 900 revs up to close to 1400. With these figures we can say that the ‘King of the Road’ title goes back to Södertalje. That is, when Volvo does not react to these figures.
