New Renault Trucks: Official launch!

Long Haul_01After months of waiting and staring at fieldtest trucks, drawings and listening to rumours here it is: The new Renault Trucks range for Euro-6!

Renault says the investment of the Volvo Group was over 2 billion Euro’s and there was an intensive testing programme going on all over Europe. Well, we sure noticed! The new T-range is replacing the Premium, but gives the Magnum comfort with the efficiency of the Premium, Renault says. The new aerodynamic cab and the Euro-6 driveline give fuel savings of up to 5% compared to the previous generations. The windscreen is set at a 12% angle and that improves the air resistance significantly.

The new long distance models have a 235 cm wide cab at the front and 250 at the back. A foldable bunk gives a lot of extra storage space in the cab. The engine tunnel is 200 mm high, or, in the top model compeltely flat, just like in the old Maggy. Renault offers the DTi 11 and DTi 13 engines in the new trucks in Euro-6.

  1. Nice truck
the one thing i don’t like is the super small sunvisor, and the stupid toplights bolted on the side of the roof.
Better and nicer in the sunvisor.
