The first photo’s of the new Volvo FH Aero electric are leaked. The new FH Aero electric is going to get a 780 kWh battery pack and an e-axle. Therefore the chassis is made longer and now has a 4,5 ton trailing axle. The combination length is no problem because of the Aero shaped cab, that allows the truck to be longer with a 13,6 meter long trailer. That is, when it can make the radius of max 12,50 meters. The big gap between the cab and the trailer is closed with streched side fenders.
The new FH with the larger battery pack is said to be able to drive up to 600 km on one single charge. Production is said to be started in 2026, sales start this year. Source: 40ton.net
