After some waiting, DAF is now fully committed to electric trucks. In addition to the XF, XB and XD, it has introduced the electric XG and XG+. The range is now expanded with 6×2, 6×4 and 8×4 tractor and rigid variants, mainly aimed at construction.
Thanks to modular battery packs, DAF can offer electric trucks for almost all transport applications, with ranges of up to around 500 km. Both tractors and rigids are available with PACCAR electric drivetrains and LFP batteries covered by an 8-year warranty. DAF is the first manufacturer with electric 6×2 tractor units on the market.
