More details of the new DAF, like the new doors without the pillar that used to block the view. Also the mirrors are moved backwards so you can see through the A-pillar and the mirrorhousing now for a smaller blind spot.
Also the door panels are completely new. Also new is the colour TFT screen on the dashboard and the new layout of the instrument cluster.
The chassis has more strength and stiffness, new axles, new suspension and is lighter than before. Despite the heavy Euro 6 damper and filters the total weight of the new DAF is only 90 kg more than the old types.
DAF did a real smart packaging on the chassis so you can still carry 1500 liters of fuel. One of the clever things is the AdBlue tank under the cab.
