Mercedes-Benz is introducting the eArocs during the Bauma exhibition in Munich in april. The eArocs is an electric construction vehicle with a reach of 350-400 km.
The truck that is going to be presented is an 8×4 tipper chassis with enough ground clearance for offroad jobs. Therefore the batteries are higher up in the frame. The eArocs is not using an eAxle but a system where the engine and gearbox are placed in the chassis, just before the conventional rear axles.
