At MAN they are working on the topic of ‘Direct Vision’. To comply to this new EU rule the cab is adjusted with a lower front windscreen and a lower dashboard. We publisched earlyer on this topic, click here!
Together with the new, lower windscreen the front of the MAN is becomming more aerodynamic, which results in a 12 cm longer cab on the front. The space in the cab remains the same.
Another new detail on the MAN cab is the ‘Kerb View Window’ in the door. We spotted this during the Road Transport Expo in Great Britain. Off course the window is on the left side in the UK, for Europe this aditional window is on the right side.
