Magnum?

One of my iepieleaks spies found this photo on the internet. His question is ‘Is this the next Renault Magnum?’ Well, that could be the case but i realy don’t know. It is something new and it is big!

And sice my Russian language is not that good i can’t read the tekst on the photo. So, sorry that i borrow your photo and i would be happy to link to you if i could read the tekst.

  1. De wieldoppen zijn overduidelijk van Renault, net als het Franse kenteken trouwens. De rand onder het raam en de bevestiging van de spiegels lijken enorm veel op de proto van Volvo die nu rond rijdt, net als de vorm van de grill in het midden onder. De verhalen dat de FH en de Magnum hun cabine gaan delen doen al heel lang de ronde, al is het dak wel beduidend anders.

  2. Dit moet haast wel de nieuwe Renault zijn.
    Ik zie wel een hoop gelijkenis met de nieuwe volvo maar toch ook wel degelijk verschillen in constructie van de cabine en dan bedoel ik geen kunstof delen.
    Kijk maar naar de vorm van de bovenzijde van de deur, die is toch duidelijk anders dan bij de Volvo cabine en daar zijn toch hele andere cabine mallen voor nodig.

    also I do not speak russian, but to my knowledge this will indeed be the new Renault Magnum.

    The new Magnum will be a complete Volvo, which means that the long wheelbase and entry behind the front axle of the current model will be gone. The cabin will be the Volvo (prototype) Globetrotter Cab (not the Globetrotter XL version). Unlike the Volvo, for the Renault the cab will be mounted higher on the frame and there will be a complete flat floor inside. That is also the reason why the (prototype) Globetrotter XL cab will not be used, it is too high to be mounted higher on the frame.

    The front will look different from the Volvo. The windscreen will be identical, but it is likely that there will be no illuminated sign above it, as will surely be the case also for the next generation Volvo.

    It will be interesting to see more pictures in the near future.
