The Ukrainian truckbrand Kraz has presented the new 8×4 truck with the type Kraz 7233C4. The truck has a Renault Premium cab from the first generation. The engine is a Russian YAMZ 6501 engine, based on an old Renault design. Other options are Chinese Weichai and Turkish Ford engines. The gearbox is said to be a Chinese product under licence of Eaton.
Word is that Kraz is also offering their own fiberglass cab, but they also sell trucks with Chinese copy cabs of the MAN F2000 and the MAN TGA cabs. This truck should be able to carry 26 tons of cargo and has a cerb weight of 15,5 tons. Production will start this year.
