Iveco, Cursor 16 engine with 850 hp?

Iveco motorenAt Iveco FPT is working on a new 15,9 liter engine that is probably going to be named Cursor 16, introduction this year!

In this illustration that was sent to me you see the new engine in the line-up reaching up to 850 Hp!  Now that is a lot of power and that would make Iveco the new ‘King of the road’ but it is not shure that this toprated engine is going to be used in a truck. The expectation is that the smaller engines, maybe up to 650 or 700 Hp will be truck engines, but you just never know with the Italians!

Something else about Iveco is the rumour that they have a completely new truck coming up. I did not get any spie photo’s to proof that, so keep your eyes and camera’s open!

  1. este motor é com o sistema de injeção commum rail e quando vira para o brasil para aposentar os cursor 13 com muito ruido tambem gostaria de saber quando terá nos caminhoes tector um motor com freio motor por descompressão no cabeçote tipo top-blak para melhorar a frenagem do caminhão o N67 terá esse sistema desde já um grande abraço.
