Iveco and Ford Trucks have signed an agreement for the development of a new cab for both brands. The new cab has to comply to the new safety, aerodynamics and direct vision regulations that become manditory in Europe in 2029.
Both company’s will produce the cab in their own factory’s with a final exterior design that fits to the brand image. The cab has to be more comfortable and spacy and has to require to all manditory standards in Europe. Also the cab has to fit on all future drivelines. The production will start in 2028.
Funny detail is that Iveco took over Ford Trucks Europe years ago, but Ford Trucks came back from Turkey.
