Holthausen Clean Technology is delivering a heavy Fuel Cell Electric truck to MaserFrakt AB in Borlange, Sweden. The truck, based on a DAF XF 6×2 chassis now has an electric driveline and a fuel cell. The truck is good for a GVW of max 65 ton.
Behind the cab there are hydrogen tanks that hold 100 kg of this future fuel. It takes only 20 minutes to fill them and the range is 1080 km. The electric driveline is 450 kW, the Fuel Cell provides 300 kW. There is a 700 Volt DC pre condition liquid cooled buffer battery.
The truck is completely prepared for the cold winter conditions in Sweden, up to minus 35 degrees C. The truck is going to be delivered in the last week of november and is on its way to Sweden now.
