These two photo’s were sent by John van den Berg. He spotted these test trucks on his holiday and succeeded in making two photo’s. They are two different trucks, watch the camouflage on the mirrors on one picture.
And yes, it is a bit strange to still test with mirrors and not camera’s for a future truck model. The cab is very large on both trucks, but there are also huge side fenders. The fueltank gives away that they are both diesel trucks and looking at the tanks, the wheelcaps and the entry to the chassis smell like Scania. The licence plates are German, could this be the next Traton model for both MAN and Scania?
There is a lot of truck news comming with the new streamline- and direct vision rules in Europe. We do expect new cabs from Volvo, Scania, MAN, Mercedes-Benz and Renault trucks in the comming years. Iveco and Ford already announced that they will work together on a new cab.
