DAF trucks is testing a lot of camouflaged trucks in a large field test. We saw a lot of different photo’s of the outside of the trucks, but here are the first interior shots. It is obvious that these are photo’s of an early prototype and the materials uses are probably not the final ones but it gives us an idea of the new DAF dashboard.
The HVAC unit for ventilation is the same as in the existing models, but the rest is new. The big hump in the middle is gone now, and that results in more space in the cab. Also the inclination of the steering column seems much bigger.
