Jonas A sent me these two photo’s of a new Volvo as a solo vehicle. They don’t show things we didn’t know but they are good photo’s. In the meanwhile i am waiting desperately for the official launch. Will it be on the IAA or is Volvo going to show something before that exhibition? In a few months we will know..

Iep, maybe you can tell me, but to be eligable for the “TRUCK OF THE YEAR” title,which i presume will be announced at the IAA show in september the new volvo fh needs to production by mid september. The next couple of years should be interesting for new cab/truck launches

2012 Volvo new FH
2013 Renault Magnum/Premium replacement
2014 Iveco Stralis replacement
2015 Daf XF replacement (if rumors are to be believed and long overdue)
20?? Scania/M.A.N replacement (both are now controlled by V.W. so inevtitably they will share the same cab eventualy
Why haven`t we seen any pictures of the Volvo FM replacement yet? Or any more pictures of the updated Stralis which i think is due for launch this month?
