This is the new DongFeng Hua Sheng HS7. This truck was presented during a presentation last week in China. Although DongFeng doesn’t have any strings attached to Scania it shure looks like this model is ‘inspired’ from the Swedish design. DongFeng Motor Corporation Ltd is a Chinese company, based in Wuhan.
Not only the exterior is a copy, also the interior is clearly ‘inspired’ on Scania’s nextgen generation. For an example the swich for the lights in the door panel and the steering wheel swiches for the cruise control.
The cab, the grille, the front bumper and the whole style looks like the Scania S- cab. It even has the lights in the roof above the windscreen! At one detail DongFeng is even further than Scania.
