In december the DAF XT105 was introduced by A. Jansen from Son, The Netherlands. Jansen has a fleet of 120 most DAF Trucks and he decided to have his own bonneted truck built for the 40th aniversary of the company. In fact he ordered two of these special trucks.
After the launch it took three more months to get the first one ready but now it is on the road! I made a story with this truck for Truckstar and other European magazines that will be published soon.
DAF Trucks is shurely not going to produce the XT and DAF dealer De Burgh is doing a market research to find out if there is demand for it. So there is a chance that the two Jansen trucks will stay unique vehicles.
