DAF is testing the new medium duty generation that will be named the DAF XD. Here we see a low roof sleeper cab rigid with a roof spoiler. The new XD shares a lot of cab components with the new DAF XF and rumours say the two steps entry is only possible with the MX11 engine. If you want the MX13 it is going to be a DAF XF. For that reason we believe there is also a day cab of the XF range in the future. DAF is expected to lauch the new XD series at the IAA Hannover in September.
