DAF had presented the 2.0 version of the Next Generation DAF trucks at the IAA. The new generation has a further improved driveline with new, faster rear axles, a new waterpump and a new compressor. The MX11 and MX13 engines now work with the ‘Miller’ principle. That means a different valve timing. Together with improved aerodynamics the new generation is ready for Maut class 3 in Germany. The only difference on the outside are two extra lines in the grille.
