The seccond DAF XT105 is ready! DAF dealer De Burgh from Eindhoven just delivered the seccond bonneted DAF to A.Jansen. For the moment is will stay that way and it is not clear if there are going to be more of these bonneted DAF trucks. This photo was sent in by driver Henrie Geboers and he probably didn’t realise that there is another scoop in this picture. A close look at the The XF105 cabover truck gives me the impression that this is another DAF fieldtest truck!

Ze komen als paddestoelen uit de grond, die testtrucks van DAF…………! Voor de XT’s mogen de chauffeurs met hun verjaardag ook wel een setje luchthoorns vragen, staat erg VET of Cool wat je wilt! Houdoe.

I doubt that´s a fieldtruck. The test trucks have got a big gap between the bumper and the grill and it that truck it looks normal. I guess you say it because the black strip over the grill, it could be that the paint it that way.
Klopt, de luchtinlaat achter de cabine is ook niet groter bij dit model. Dus het lijkt me geen euro 6.

It is not ‘just’ the painted black stripe. You can see the grill ends more downwards than the door, where at the normal XF105 they are equal.
Besides, it lookslike the inside frontlamps are covered with something red, what we have seen on other test trucks as well.
