DAF Trucks in introducing the Aerobody for the 12 ton LF. This truck can be ordered with this streamlined Paccar body. In combination with a special designed spoiler- and fender kit this leads to significant savings of fuel and CO2 in the distribution.
The box has an aerodynamic shaped roof and all the corners are round. DAF claims fuel savings up to 4% with this versions. At 85 km/h the claim is that this LF is even up to 8% more fuelsaving when compared with trucks without spoiliers and aerodynamic bodies.
The box comes in lengts of 675 and 705 centimetres and that means there is space for 16 or 17 Europallets. The Paccar Aerobody comes standard with a 1,5 ton taillift.
