DAF completes Euro 6 range. New CF and LF launched

workhouseToday DAF launched the new LF and CF models at the CV show in Birmingham. The new family face of DAF fits all models as we can see in this photo. XF and CF were always the tough guys in the DAF range, but from now on the new LF also has a bold look. The new front looks very good on the small truck.

New LF2DAF claims that the aerodynamics are much better with the new design and with the new Euro 6 engines the efficiency is the same or even better than the previous models. In the new LF there is also a complete new interior which looks very good. Both LF and CF have the new 5 inch colour dashboard display with information in 32 languages.

The new LF and CF have new engines with common-rail, VGT turbo and work with EGR and SCR + particel filters. The LF comes with 5 or 7 liter engines and the CF comes with the new MX 11 and the MX 13 engine. The power range of both trucks starts at 150 Hp up to 510 Hp for the top model. The service interval of the new LF is 60.000 kilometres, the new CF has a max of 150.000 km.

Integrated LED running lights, LED headlights for the CF, new axles and axle mountings and even a complete new chassis layout for the LF, make that the new medium and light DAF trucks are much more than just a facelift.

Production of the new CF starts in june, the LF production start is scheduled for november 2013.
