The MAZ rallyteam from Belarus came to Marocco to test their latest rallytruck. The test succeeded very well because two of the MAZ trucks ended up in the top 3 of the rally.
The completely new bonneted MAZ truck is powered by a 13 liter Cat engine in combination with an Allison automatic transmission. This truck, driven by Siarhei Viazovich was the winner of the rally in Marocco. That is a great achievement because the team said they only wanted to test. The other MAZ truck, with the same engine but with a manual ZF transmission became third. Both trucks were tuned and build by the Tsjech company Buggyra. Second place was for the Veka MAN of Peter Versluis.
