Bonneted Maz

This is the seccond version of the bonneted MAZ truck that was shown this year. Phe prototype had the MZZ engine with 600 Hp, an Allison automatic transmision and the new big sleepercab. Maybe the Belarus plant will use the Mercedes engine in the next generation.

Bonneted trucks are popular in the ex-USSR countries because the maximum length is 20 meters for tractor-trailers. Therefore there are a lot of American trucks on the road in Russia. The biggest problem of this MAZ truck is its weight. The truck weighs 11,15 ton, and that is a bit heavy..
