Side view of the DAF

And here’s another one of Robert-Jan Onderwater. He spotted this test DAF on the road, and at the gasstation! This shot gives a nice look on the side of the truck and there we see where DAF hides the extra hight of the cab. The differences are in the extra black part in the wheelarch…Continue Reading

And here’s another one of the DAF fieldtest trucks. This black truck is being spotted a lot but this time i got some nice close photo’s. They show the differences in the grille and front bumper but don’t forget, this is just cammouflage. My sources tell me DAF is working on a spectacular new design…Continue Reading

More Volvo interior

Now this shot was taken minutes ago in Urk, hometown of one of the Iepieleaks Squadron. It shows the interior on the passanger side. It shows big lockers above the windscreen and also it shows that Volvo managed to make a nice big gap between the A-pilar and the mirrors. Now that is good news,…Continue Reading

Daimler Trucks North America presents a test result in the area of alternative drive systems. For the first time, a natural gas-fueled Freightliner Cascadia completed a tour from San Diego to Washington D.C. (approximately 2,700 miles), interrupted only by refueling stops every 350 to 500 miles. The CNG truck (CNG = compressed natural gas) only…Continue Reading

First interior shot

On www.truckstar.nl I found this shot of the interior of the new Volvo trucks. The flat part on the dash has to be cammouflage but i think the position of the I-Shift is a real suprise. Every other manufactorer moved the gearbox functions to the steering column but in this testtruck it is still in the…Continue Reading

Chinees in Holland

Last weekend one of the Iepieleaks SpieSquad found this Chinese Howo Sinotruck in Eindhoven! And no, it wasn’t at the DAF but the truck was standing on the premisses of Prins Autogassystems. The truck has the old Volvo FL cab and the grille looks a bit like an Actros. Prins is working on alternative fuels…Continue Reading
